PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone for another great school year. I hope that you have enjoyed a relaxing summer of fun and had exciting memories with your loved ones.

We are all excited to see our students so full of energy and enthusiasm for learning. As stated in our school mission, we are here to empower students to become critical thinkers and socially responsible individuals motivated by moral values and a belief in tolerance, diversity and harmony. Throughout the year we aim to organize our activities around this mission.

In order for each student to achieve their maximum potential, we ask that you support your child’s learning by ensuring that they;

Taking this opportunity, I would like to introduce two new staff members, Mrs Victoria Kelly and Miss Rebecca Rosevear. Mrs Kelly is the homeroom teacher of the Foundation class and Miss Rosevear works as Student Support Coordinator and Integration Aide.

We spent our summer making the school a better place for everyone. We purchased new books, furniture and equipment for the library, art room and the classrooms. Carpets in most of the classrooms have been replaced with quality and colourful ones. We added more sand to the sand pit and bark mulch to the playgrounds. Overall, we believe that these changes will enhance the students’ learning experiences and will benefit their schooling for years to come.

On behalf of Sirius College staff, I would like to thank you for entrusting us with your children. In return, we promise to do our very best to support them.

Regards,
Mr. Adem Engin
Principal
